Cooperation Maas and Waal

From a great start to a familiar place after schoold

Basisschool Maas en Waal is a public primary school in Amsterdam South, in the Rivierenbuurt, with approximately 300 children divided into 12 groups. Everyone is welcome, with respect for the rich diversity of cultural and philosophical backgrounds.

The vision of Maas en Waal can be summarized in the sentence ‘Help me do it myself’. Children learn there based on trust in themselves and others, with room to take responsibility and develop. Academic skills go hand in hand with personal growth and social skills.

KleintjeZuid Rivierenbuurt collaborates with Maas en Waal and offers children a trusted place to develop. After their time at our preschool, children can transition to KleintjeZuid's after-school care (NSO). We pick up the children from Maas en Waal after school, so they can continue their day in a pleasant way at KleintjeZuid.
